WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

A leader or organization’s most powerful asset is not their vision, it’s their voice. Voices can create, stimulate, and inaugurate change. Nonprofit’s can change the world with "just" voices. Not in the sense of using voices alone, but in the sense of using voices that are just! In this session attendees will discover a framework for employing their leadership or organization’s voice to be a catalyst for change.

What The Training Will Cover

  • Learn how to apply the irresistible power of narrative transcription through a storytelling framework. 

  • Understand how to be able to put into practice a newfound awareness of the diverse power dynamics of messengers, messages, and their audiences. 

  • Gain insight into how to employ skills on how to position themselves and their organization to be heard in a way that creates inclusivity and builds coalitions for change.

  • Identify the differences between diverse voices and inclusive voices.

  • Lean how to ascertain the nuances of conducting justice reviews before displaying messages.

ABOUT THE TRAINER

Anthony A. Dicks, Jr. is a leader’s leader! His passion for leadership development is seen through his work with emerging nonprofit leaders. He has spent over two decades preparing people with diverse responsibilities to reach their optimal leadership potential. He is a current doctoral candidate in the Strategic Leadership program at Liberty University and is also a Certified John C. Maxwell Team Member and DiSC Coach. Anthony currently transforms leaders as the Senior Leadership Consultant at 180 Management Group.
