Workshop Description

Your website might be getting traffic, but traffic alone does not fund your mission. This workshop breaks down how nonprofits can turn website visitors into donors by improving clarity, trust, and user flow. We will look at what donors actually need to see before they give and where most nonprofits unintentionally lose them. You will learn how small changes to messaging, layout, and calls to action can lead to meaningful increases in donations. Attendees will leave with practical ideas they can apply immediately to their own website.

What the Training Will Cover

  • Evaluate your current website by identifying outdated content, confusing layouts, and trust-breaking elements that reduce engagement.

  • Decide what should be improved now versus later by understanding which website issues can be addressed internally and which ones realistically require outside help or investment.

  • Clarify what actions your website should drive by aligning homepage messaging, navigation, and page structure with donations, sign-ups, volunteering, or inquiries.

  • Identify practical first steps for improvement by using a simple framework to improve messaging clarity, calls-to-action, and user flow with your existing website.

All workshops are live & recorded. Registrants receive slides & recordings. It is best to attend live. If you miss the workshop, you can watch the recordings and reach out to the instructor with any questions.
