This Statement of Privacy applies to www.nonprofitlearninglab.org and Nonprofit Learning Lab and governs data collection and usage. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Nonprofit Learning Lab include www.nonprofitlearninglab.org. Nonprofit Learning Lab website is a law school coaching and guidance site. By using Nonprofit Learning Lab guidance website, you consent to this privacy policy. Capitalized terms that are not defined herein have the meanings assigned to them in the Terms and Conditions of Nonprofit Learning Lab.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated in this privacy policy.

Nonprofit Learning Lab may receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way.   1. To provide and operate the Guidance Services;

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective Guidance Services;

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with an online platform that allows us to sell our products and Guidance Services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases, and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

While we strive to protect your personal information, no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. As a result, you acknowledge that (1) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the internet that are beyond our control; and (2) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged through this site cannot be guaranteed. To the extent there is any breach of personal information resulting from the use of the website, understand that Wix is solely liable.

We retain your personal information you provide us for at least the duration of your relationship with Nonprofit Learning Lab. We may also retain the information for longer periods of time as needed to comply with legal obligations, enforce a dispute, or pursuant to the Terms and Conditions.

CHILDREN UNDER 18

Nonprofit Learning Lab does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of eighteen. If you are under the age of eighteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.

OTHER INFORMATION

We use wix.com and zoom.us for video appointments and screen sharing. We do not record meetings or store any information associated with those meetings. Wix.com and zoom may create a record of information related to the Sessions, including length and date of the Sessions. We may also use Verizon or other phone-related Guidance Services for voice calls. We do not store or record phone calls.

EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

From time to time, Nonprofit Learning Lab may contact you via email to provide announcements, alerts, confirmations of appointments, or other information. We may receive a notification when you open an email from Nonprofit Learning Lab.
