Evaluation is too often something organizations do after the work is finished; it's a report to satisfy a funder, a set of metrics for accountability, or an assessment that arrives too late to inform decisions. This interactive workshop reframes evaluation as a living practice: an ongoing process of inquiry that helps organizations notice change, make sense of emerging patterns, and adapt while the work is still unfolding. Rather than focusing on methods alone, participants explore the habits, questions and learning routines that make evaluation genuinely useful for decision-making. Through reflection, discussion, and hands-on design exercises, participants apply these ideas directly to their own initiatives, leaving with concrete steps for putting them into practice.
Jessica Neno Cloud, CFRE, MA | Starr King School for the Ministry
This two-part series helps nonprofit leaders identify what’s keeping fundraising stuck in short-term, transactional cycles—and build a practical path toward relationship-based revenue. Participants will diagnose their current revenue model, explore how board culture impacts growth, and learn tools for resetting expectations and building accountability. The series ends with three specific, calendar-ready shifts participants can make in the next 30 days.

You know your organization is making a difference, but too often, funders don’t respond in the way you hope. When you have only a few minutes—or sometimes just seconds—to introduce your work, it’s easy for funders to miss the heart of your mission or overlook the real impact you’re creating in your community. In this interactive two-part series training, nonprofit leaders will develop a clear and compelling 90-second pitch that communicates the essence of their organization’s work.

Feedback culture is one of the most powerful and underutilized performance and retention strategies available to nonprofit leaders. Sustained practice requires more than skill-building: it depends on the psychological foundations and organizational conditions that make it possible. This session outlines those conditions and introduces the essential elements of a feedback-fluent organization, from self-knowledge to structural design.

We all carry stories, the assumptions, associations, and beliefs shaped by our upbringing, communities, and culture. Many of these stories operate beneath our awareness, quietly influencing the decisions we make, the people we trust, and the communities we serve. In this first session, we explore what implicit bias is, where it comes from, and how it moves through our subconscious in ways we rarely notice. Through the lens of the Cognitive Model and the Cycle of Oppression, participants will begin to see how bias is not a character flaw but a deeply conditioned pattern that, left unchecked, shapes organizational culture and community impact in measurable ways.
Kameron Conley | Reborn Consultants
Your website might be getting traffic, but traffic alone does not fund your mission. This workshop breaks down how nonprofits can turn website visitors into donors by improving clarity, trust, and user flow. We will look at what donors actually need to see before they give and where most nonprofits unintentionally lose them. You will learn how small changes to messaging, layout, and calls to action can lead to meaningful increases in donations. Attendees will leave with practical ideas they can apply immediately to their own website.
Amanda Kean | ADK Consulting, in partnership with Consultants For Good (C4G)
This workshop introduces a simple, three-step, technology-enabled workflow that uses AI as a time-saving assistant, never as a replacement for human judgment. Participants actively work through this workflow during the session, using real tools and prompts while applying clear guardrails for responsible AI use and “human-in-the-loop” decision-making.
Betsy Block | B3 Coach
Burnout is reshaping the social impact sector, and too frequently the causes get minimized to employees being overworked and underpaid - limiting the range of solutions available to organizational leaders. Leaders need bold and practical approaches to meet the moment, including a more expansive way of understanding burnout as a systemic, organizational issue and the underlying factors that can be addressed. This workshop will blend reflection, research, and care to help you understand six drivers of burnout and identify opportunities to effect change at your organization. You’ll collaborate with peers to explore meaningful strategies to support your team and organization.
Michele Levy | Caravan Brand Partners
AI is showing up in nonprofit boardrooms whether we've planned for it or not. This workshop offers a practical four-layer framework for approaching AI as a tool to strengthen your organization—not just something to regulate or fear. We'll explore purpose, board-level governance, privacy and compliance, and organization-wide implementation. Rather than another risk checklist, we'll focus on using AI to solve real challenges while keeping people, dignity, and mission at the center.
