Workshop Description
Evaluation is too often something organizations do after the work is finished; it's a report to satisfy a funder, a set of metrics for accountability, or an assessment that arrives too late to inform decisions. This interactive workshop reframes evaluation as a living practice: an ongoing process of inquiry that helps organizations notice change, make sense of emerging patterns, and adapt while the work is still unfolding. Rather than focusing on methods alone, participants explore the habits, questions and learning routines that make evaluation genuinely useful for decision-making. Through reflection, discussion, and hands-on design exercises, participants apply these ideas directly to their own initiatives, leaving with concrete steps for putting them into practice.
Who Should Attend
Nonprofit professionals who want to reframe evaluation as an adaptive, living practice as their organization's work unfolds.
What the Training Will Cover
Reframe evaluation as an ongoing learning practice rather than a reporting requirement
Differentiate between measuring outcomes and generating actionable insight for decision-making
