Activity Sheets: Volunteer Management & Writing a Case Statement

We offer free downloadable, printable worksheets to help you brainstorm on nonprofit topics such as strategy & planning, fundraising, and volunteer management.

Volunteer recognition and appreciation are essential to retention. Keeping volunteers engaged and part of your community helps to build a dedicated base of volunteers. This document helps you plan out what your volunteer recognition plan is for the year.

Volunteer recruitment is an ongoing effort. Nonprofits rely on volunteers to support and implement programs and services. You want to develop a plan for recruiting individuals to serve in volunteer positions.

This worksheet focuses on six guiding questions that staff and board members should be able to answer when developing a case statement. Questions included can be integrated into meetings and onboarding for new board members.

This is a great resource to use when developing a case statement or if your organization is re-imagining its mission and vision. The ability to express what makes your organization unique helps define programs and services and will help your organization attract new donors, supporters, and board members.
