Roxanne Novo Rimmer | Hearts 2 Headlines

Optimize your brand’s first impression so that it leads to funding. In this two-day workshop, we will transform passive interest into meaningful engagement with a simple, repeatable first-impression framework. Through real-time audits, breakout reviews, and hands-on exercises, you’ll uncover what your audience actually experiences when they encounter your brand - and how to fix what’s holding them back from giving.

Learn how to strengthen your nonprofit’s value proposition to attract external funding and investment. We cover how to understand funder priorities, craft a compelling case for support, and showcase your organization’s unique value and impact. Participants will also explore strategies to engage potential supporters and build long-term funding partnerships.

Julie Ha Truong | Leadership Savvy

Leaders can make or break an organization. We need leaders with agility, tenacity, and an open heart and mind. Join us to learn top skills and approaches for successfully leading nonprofits and teams today. Through interactive discussions, we'll help you shift from management to strategy to drive lasting impact. Explore new frameworks you can immediately apply to better motivate your team to meet shared goals. You'll leave with a clearer sense of your leadership style and what works best for your team. Finally, you'll gain a better understanding of how to build meaningful, strategic relationships that are vital to being a more impactful and influential leader.

Marissa Minter & Nina O. | Velora

Join us to explore how fundraisers can use AI and automation to make donor outreach more timely, personalized, and authentic. We’ll share strategies on how to streamline donor communications, tailor outreach based on donor information and engagement, and use AI to save time without losing the human connection that makes fundraising effective. We’ll highlight Keela’s new Automation solution and how it can help nonprofits build more consistent donor engagement and strengthen giving results.

Judie Caribeaux | Mission + Strategy

This engaging, practical workshop explores how organizational culture shapes every decision, relationship, and behavior within a nonprofit. Through storytelling and real-life examples, participants will reflect on how personal histories, unspoken norms, and unchecked behaviors shape culture more than stated values. Using a reflective framework, they will analyze their current cultural practices to uncover strengths, gaps, and misalignments. Participants will leave with strategies to intentionally shape culture, building greater trust, accountability, and alignment within their teams.

Jonathan Meagher-Zayas | Equity Warrior Strategies

Nonprofits often struggle to move beyond performative Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) statements and create meaningful, sustainable change—especially when equity work triggers organizational trauma (e.g., resistance, burnout, or retraumatization of marginalized staff). As this work becomes more important than ever, yet faces misinformation and resistance, passionate leaders in this field must be intentional and engaging. This interactive workshop guides participants through a trauma-informed DEIB action planning process, blending strategic frameworks with healing-centered practices to ensure equity initiatives are effective, inclusive, and sustainable.

Edward Byers | CANRev Collaborative in partnership with Velora

Grant funding is more competitive than ever, and a strong application is only part of the story. The nonprofits that stand out are the ones who understand what funders are really looking for. Our guest speaker, Edward Byers, brings years of grant writing, grant management, and fund development strategy experience from working with major nonprofit organizations. Drawing on that experience, he will break down what makes a proposal compelling, the common mistakes that quietly weaken an application, and the factors that actually drive funding decisions. He will also explore how grants fit into a broader fund development strategy to help your organization raise funds and build sustainable revenue. You will leave ready to align your proposals with funder priorities, communicate your organization's impact more clearly, and strengthen your entire grant development process.

Jasmine Daly | Daly Analytics

Your staff is already using AI. The question is whether you're governing it—or hoping for the best. Here's the problem: 68-82% of nonprofit employees are using generative AI tools right now, but only 5-14% of organizations have an AI use policy in place. That 60+ point governance gap exposes your organization to serious fiduciary risk—uncontrolled data exposure, inconsistent practices, and the kind of "hope-based development" that keeps finance and operations leaders up at night.

Allecia Harley | IntuWork, in partnership with The Association of Consultants to Nonprofits (ACN)

The meetings are pleasant. The program officer is encouraging. The invitation to apply never comes. In 30 minutes, learn the specific signals that separate an aligned funder relationship from a stalled one, get language for asking a funder a direct question, and leave with a one-page audit for your current funder list.
