Scott Garell | Garell Coaching

We all encounter ethical dilemmas in our daily work with and for community, but rarely do organizations focus on ethics related to volunteer engagement. This session provides an opportunity for practitioners to understand the difference between personal, organizational and professional ethics. The core values and principles identified by the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration (CCVA) will be shared. Participants will learn a process for ethical decision-making that can be applied in any situation, and then practice this using real-life scenarios related to volunteers. Finally, several specific strategies will be offered for increasing awareness of ethics within an organization and helping both volunteers and staff become more effective at handling ethical dilemmas.

Joan Benson | Martus Solutions

In this session, we’ll provide a framework for impact storytelling that you can replicate again and again, helping you identify, tell, and share the stories that illustrate the impact of your work and inspire your audiences to become even more invested in your vision for the future.

What’s better? We’ll show you how to streamline your storytelling across channels, amplifying that carefully crafted impact all year long in your web, direct mail, email, and social media campaigns.

Meena Das | NamasteData

AI is everywhere in 2025 - but most nonprofits are unsure where to begin. This session is designed for nonprofit professionals who want clarity, confidence, and practical tools to bring back to their teams. Together, we will cover three essentials every nonprofit should know:

  • Foundations – What AI can (and can’t) do for nonprofits right now.

  • Ethics – How to use AI responsibly, avoiding risks to trust and equity.

  • Practical Prompts – Simple, hands-on examples with ChatGPT that can save your team time and support your mission-driven work.

You will also hear key insights from the AI Equity Project, showing how nonprofits across North America are approaching AI - and what lessons you can apply to your own organization.

Brandon Wilks | LVD Strategies, in partnership with Consultants for Good (C4G)

Given the increasing level of change we face, it's not viable to treat strategy as purely a logical chain of events. To manage the change, strategy should be the results of shared beliefs to take operational bets. This highlights the importance of aligning strategies with culture to guide leadership behaviors and employee expectations. By doing so, we ensure our culture motivates the right habits, norms and rituals to execute change successfully.

Matt Pearl | Pearl Impact Media

Uncertainty, surprise announcements, and jeopardized funding have created a chaotic time for so many essential organizations. In times like these, video can be extremely powerful.

It can help raise awareness, supercharge fundraising, and captivate clients, donors, and everyone in-between - and particularly now, it can reassert the necessity and vitality of what you provide. But what kind of video? What's the best way to use it on social media? And how do you know when to DIY and when to invest in a high-end production company? I answer those questions with a variety of workshops centered around video and visual storytelling.
