Score it (add up all five, out of 25):
20-25 → Go: prioritize it and assign an owner now.
14-19 → Maybe: pursue only if you have capacity after your "Go" grants.
Below 14 → Pass or pause: politely decline or revisit next cycle.
Automatic no-go: any Eligibility score of 1, regardless of the final total. (Scores of 2 and 4 can sit between the anchors above.)
Pursue the opportunities with top scores, and politely pass or pause the rest. Saying no faster is a strategy, not a failure, and it protects your hours for the grants you can actually win.
Stage 3: Get application-ready
Build a reusable content library so you're never starting a grant application from a blank page. Organize your mission statement, boilerplate, program descriptions, budgets, a logic model, and your most recent outcomes and impact stories. Effort-to-return, where is your time actually paying off?
