Workshop Description
You have the plan. You have the people. So why isn’t the work moving? A great strategy can still get stuck. The plan may be clear, the team may be committed, and everyone may agree on what needs to happen, yet the work still does not move. Priorities compete, decisions linger, capacity gets stretched, or existing systems make the work harder than expected.
This interactive workshop will help you identify implementation friction, understand the conditions needed to move work forward, and use practical benchmarks to assess readiness. Explore how capacity, clarity, dependencies, fit, and support can affect implementation, and learn how to identify what needs to be learned, clarified, or addressed before moving forward.
You will also explore how to distinguish activity from real change, identify what phase of implementation you are in, use leading indicators to know whether work is moving, and review and adjust when implementation does not go as planned.
Come with a strategy or plan that needs to move forward. Leave with a clearer understanding of what may be getting in the way and practical questions and benchmarks to help keep the work moving.

Recognize common sources of implementation friction that can slow or prevent strategies and plans from moving forward.
Assess implementation readiness using practical benchmarks related to capacity, clarity, dependencies, fit, support, people, process, and resources.
Identify where implementation may get stuck and determine what needs to be learned, clarified, or verified before moving forward.
Distinguish between activity, change, and outcomes when assessing whether implementation is actually moving forward.
Identify the implementation phase they are in and use benchmarks and leading indicators to determine whether work is ready to move to the next step.
Develop practical next steps for addressing implementation barriers, reviewing progress, and adjusting a strategy or plan when needed.

All workshops are live. Registrants receive slides & recordings. It is expected participants will be able to be on camera and able to unmute for some portions of the training to participate in discussions. Full recordings are not provided. About the Trainer
