Workshop Description

Strong fundraising is built on relationships. When staff and leadership nurture donor connections over time, they can deepen engagement and create lasting support for the organization’s mission. Building shared knowledge and creating multiple connection points between donors and staff across the organization can sustain relationships and continuity through staff transitions.

Strong donor relationships create opportunities for deeper engagement and sustained support. Explore how supporters move from awareness to engagement and commitment. Learn how four key conversations can help build trust, understand donor motivations, demonstrate value, and strengthen commitment.

We'll explore ways to strengthen fundraising systems, including documenting relationship knowledge, creating brand consistency, involving program staff, and developing multiple connections between donors and your organization. Learn how to build relationships that connect donors to the mission and organization while creating greater resilience across staff transitions.

Leave with practical strategies and questions to help deepen relationships, preserve knowledge, sustain momentum, and build a more resilient approach to fundraising.
