WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Fundraising can be hard for a small team as it requires people and resources. In reflecting upon the challenges of 2020 and 2021, fundraising can be even daunting for a small development team. In this interactive workshop, we will discuss strategies and action steps to build upon and implement a fundraising plan and create a team of supporters including board members, fundraising committees, community leaders, volunteers or interns . We will discuss implementable strategies to get you on the right track to raise more for your organization. This training is ideal for organizations with 1-3 people in a development office who spend the part or all of their time focused on fundraising. We will focus on setting realistic weekly and monthly goals that you can achieve as an organization and small team!

WHAT TECHNOLOGY OR OTHER THINGS DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE?

  • Laptop or desktop absolutely no cell phone

  • We will be using Zoom meeting for the training

  • Camera on your laptop or desktop - the trainer and other participants need to be able to see you

  • Audio on your laptop or desktop

  • Ability to login at least 5-10 minutes in advance of the workshop start time for audio check

  • We cannot provide a full recording of this training because sometimes participants will be in breakout rooms. If you are going to miss a session you have options to participate in a different session to make up for one you missed. 

  • Participates will receive slides and a helpful template to use for design, scaling and re-imaging programs.
