WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Understanding how to unlock the ability to effectively research, plan, and write grants is key for nonprofit fundraising success. Foundations represent approximately 20% of all contributions made to nonprofit organizations. This makes grant writing an important function for any nonprofit to master. Gain insight into how to find grants appropriate for your organizations. Participants will learn how to ensure your process is effective and write an award-winning application.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
Amy Krigsman (she/her) is a nonprofit professional and lifelong volunteer based in South Florida with demonstrated success in nonprofit capacity building. Krigsman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University, a Graduate Certificate in Event Management from the University of Central Florida and is currently pursuing Dual Master’s in Nonprofit Management and Public Administration with a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising, also from the University of Central Florida.
She brings a specialized blend of private and public sector knowledge and experience to her work and focuses on empowering small- to midsize nonprofit organizations to achieve greater impact in their communities as the Owner & Principal Consultant of ark nonprofit consulting. ark is committed to disrupting the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors through radical and innovative approaches to this work.
