What keeps donors engaged with our mission is how we identify and communicate new ideas and innovations for our organizations. That all starts inside our organizations with our ability to generate new donor-centric messages, identify the best ones, and integrate them into our fundraising. Integrating behavioral economics and psychology practices for your messages will make you walk away with: a new perspective on innovation and sound messaging principles to be implemented in their fundraising communications for deeper engagement.

Katie Lord is Vice President of Nonprofit Development at Proof and brings an extensive background in nonprofit development and marketing.  She has spent her entire career working in the social sector, first in fundraising and development with three national nonprofit organizations: American Cancer Society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Make A Wish Missouri. Katie then transferred her skills to nonprofit consulting with Byrne Pelofsky + Associates where she served as a Vice President and Consultant. There she worked with clients from the Greater Kansas City Metro Area, the States of Kansas and Missouri, and nationally. During her tenure, Katie worked with clients to raise millions of dollars towards their capital goals through expanding donor relationships and implementing best practices with her client partners. Katie’s strength and passion is working with nonprofit organizations to increase their fundraising and development success through strategic, donor-based long-term planning. Katie is a BoardSource Certified Consultant in board governance, as well as a speaker and trainer in the nonprofit sector.
