WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Many companies seek to engage their employees by offering them opportunities to give back to the community. As nonprofit leaders, it is likely time to reimagine how you engage with companies to develop your corporate volunteer program. As companies look to engage their employees in different ways in 2022, it is important for nonprofits to build and adapt their corporate volunteer programs. Corporate volunteer programs provide camaraderie, meaningful work for employees and skilled talents for the nonprofits they serve. Attend this workshop and leave with a plan to have corporate volunteer programs support your organization by helping you fulfill your mission, build a brand, engage community, and help raise additional funds.

WHAT TECHNOLOGY OR OTHER THINGS DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE?

  • Laptop or desktop absolutely no cell phone

  • We will be using Zoom meeting for the training

  • Camera on your laptop or desktop - the trainer and other participants need to be able to see you

  • Audio on your laptop or desktop

  • Ability to login at least 5-10 minutes in advance of the workshop start time for audio check

  • We cannot provide a full recording of this training because sometimes participants will be in breakout rooms. If you are going to miss a session you have options to participate in a different session to make up for one you missed. 

  • Participates will receive slides and a helpful template to use for design, scaling and re-imaging programs.
